I came to Yoga in search of finding peace within myself and to calm the thought chaos that was going on in my mind. I had been practicing Vinyasa Yoga for almost 4 years before I discovered Ashtanga Yoga. It was about halfway through my first Ashtanga class when I discovered this inner strength. It was a familiar strength even though it seemed to me I had never felt it before. It was like I was feeling the strength of the person I was to become and that’s when I felt the pause. The pause from the worries, the grasping, the scheming. The pause of Peace. In that exact moment, I knew I had to dedicate my life to serving the souls of others through the Technology of Ashtanga Yoga. My goal is to empower others in their personal yoga practice and to support them while they are searching for their own pause.
